no people do not make viruses for Linux because it is already built in with the fact that most every release uses at least 3-6 different partitions to install onto and when one is corrupted the rest are used to correct the problem in that single partition. also most viruses do not attack mac for this same reason. Little kiddie virus cannot touch either of these OS for this reason. You must have real skill to make a stable virus for mac or Linux and neither would last long. Most viruses are written with the initial position to hurt Microsoft in general. Most Big Time Programmers do not have respect for windows and thus declared war on them long ago. Just a fact of life
